Catalog Description:

Hamburg American Clock Co. is the trademark on the 8 day movement. It strikes a standing gong on the half hours. Big porcelain dial with easy to read Arabic numerals. Bowed glass over the dial. The case is 12 inches high, top part is brass, bottom is oak with carved designs, and grooves, onthe front. Beveled square glass. 2 brass plaques on the base. Left one says, "Presented to Mr. and Mrs. Chissus". Right one says, "From No6 B.M.P.C.N."A company label on the base, "No. 8", and some initials I can't read. Clockis running, but the movement is fussy, must be in perfect beat, level, etc.
