Seth Thomas

Catalog Description:

Made and Sold at Plymouth, Connecticut by Seth Thomas, per the label inside the case. About 10 percent loss in the weight chutes. What you see is most of an early column and splat clock. Inside the case is the other chimney, both returns, no splat. There is a wood movement, iron bell, 2 old weights, old hands, pretty good old wood dial, original bottom glass-partially rebacked-originalputty holding it in, dark original half columns-dirty but you can still seethe designs. The only things missing are; upper glass, splat, and some veneeron the door. A lot of potential if you like to restore early pieces. Thewood movement worth the minimum, plus you get the original glass, hands, weights, etc.
