Catalog Description:

Herschede Hall Clock Co. "Pendulum Westminster Mantle Chime Clock", Model 20. serial number 72024. Plays Westminster chimes on the quarters. Chimescan be silenced if you so desire. Full paper instruction label and a metallabel typical of all Herschede clocks. Complete, original, running. Dialis spun hand-silver finish, raised bronze numerals and fitted with appropriate hands. The case was made of the finest mahogany sometime in the early 1900's. This model was one of their highest priced mantle clocks they made, $67 in 1927. Clocks made by the Herschede company are top quality and still command very high prices in the collector market. Reference-"Herschede Clocks", a compilation of 4 trade catalogs, 1904, 1905, 1910, and 1927, published by The American Clock and Watch Museum, 1991.
