Catalog Description: English-German? Bracket clock. 8 day, bim-bam strike on the first3 quarters, on double gongs, strikes hour's with1 hammer on 1 gong. A very attractive miniature mahogany or walnut case with just enough brass ornamentation to give it an expensive look. Three bronze pineapple finials, 4 bronze feet, decorations on each side of the front door, and a metal screen over the back door opening. Both doors are key locking, key included. The dial rings are silver, time dial and slow-fast dial. Inner dial is also silver and signed, "Jaco Paignton", or something close to that. It could be Jago, Jacob, Jacot, not real sure. Brass dial surround with applied brass decorations all around. Clock is running and striking. There is a very heavy piece of brass holding the glass in place. Nice clock, should not need anything, ready to go. |
