Waterbury Clock Company Regulator No. 20

Catalog Description:

Waterbury Clock Co. "Regulator No. 20", ca 1906. Old oak case is 38 inches high. It has been cleaned of all the old varnish and smoke. Enough new finish put on in the right places to make it the same red oak shade all over. The wood was polished, rubbed, and is shining. 8 day, 2 weight, time only movement is a strong runner. The original wafer weights were stained to blend with the dark oak interior of the case so they aren't real noticeable as they descend down each side out of the case. Movement has solid frames, dead beat escapement, retaining power. The clock came out originally with a12 inch paper dial on a metal pan. The paper and pan on this clock were sobad we had The Dial House replace them with a new paper dial and pan, andthey look great. The old beat scale is broken in the middle where the screwwas put down to tight Old brass bob and stick, original weights.Ly-Waterbury No. 560.
