Catalog Description:

30 day running Vienna, movement signed "Remember No. 85198". This 49" contemporary case made of Tiger Maple was constructed especially for this 30 day movement. It mounts by inserting a wood seat board to wood mounting blocks. We will include with the clock the original 4 post metal back plate, serial No. 85198, that goes with the movement. The case was made by an excellent cabinet maker in a very attractive style. There are 3 glasses on each side because of the curvature; some serious woodworking was done on the top, which is removable, plus the trim on both sides of the door, and the base trim. The case is so narrow at the bottom the pendulum ball has only a 1/2" clearance on the swing. The 2 piece porcelain dial, porcelain beat scale, original hands, weight, wall levelers, pendulum bob, and stick, are all original and in excellent condition. The brass hardware on the wood stick also bears the No. 85198. This is a really nice 1 weight, long running clock. The brass is all shining and the clock is running superbly.
