Catalog Description:

Mixed lot, but serviceable. C.1890, good Round French movement complete, now in a C.1920 well made butternut case. The fellow who sent this related that the original marble case had gotten broken and his father had made the case in his cabinet shop, following the original design. It is very nicely done, with original finish to the case. The 8-day movement retains original dial, hands and hardware, however is dirty and will need cleaning (does tick). A good beginner clock, or as a decorator for someone who wants an attractive mantel clock. Height 10 inches
