C.1890, C.S. Wilder, Peterboro, NH figural desk thermometer. The cast iron base and bronzed figure are in very nice condition. The silvered thermometer scale is in good condition, and the mercury thermometer is intact. These are all NH workmanship, and Wilder is well known as a 19th century instrument maker. Height 10.5 inches
