Catalog Description: C.1900, German, Wurttemburg, Musical Alarm in very good original condition. Usually these nickeled sheet tin alarms are pretty sad, but this one retains great original nickel finish, good gilt dial mask, good original paper dial with seconds ring and alarm ring still sharp and easily legible. The 30 hour balance lever movement is clean and running. And the best part is the tune: "The Flittermouse" (amazingly they felt it necessary to translate from die Fledermaus) with original tune card.
