Catalog Description:

C.1900, Ansonia Criterion, spelter and onyx mantel clock, as-found with top 2" of leafy trim broken away. The Criterion sold new for $40.25, about the cost of a Gloria swinger, which was $43. The Gloria was certainly the better investment. You will need to have another Criterion in order to copy the trim and restore this case. Height as shown 14.5" See also lots 482 and 483.
