E and GW Bartholomew

Catalog Description:

C.1835, E. and G. W. Bartholomew, Bristol, Conn., 30-hour time/strike wood movement shelf clock, short drop. The refinished case is in pretty nice condition with some minor veneer repair on the strip separating the door glasses and a chip on the top edge. Both glasses are original with the painted tablet having had some restoration. The stenciling on the case appears to be original in some places and new or retouched in others. The carved feet are period, however butt directly to the case with no dowel hole, so are probably not original to the case (they do look OK); pineapple finials are original. Seems to run and strike ok, and with a good label. Height 29.5 inches
