Catalog Description:

C.1860, Massachusetts, Full Size regulator banjo in very nice restored condition. This is a large and heavy clock. The 11" dial has been professionally restored and bears the inscription "Penn Mutual Insurance Co., West Chester, Penna". The black and gold throat tablet is original; lower tablet restored; the gilt wood stick may be seen while the clock is running. The movement is robust as well as unusual, with some 'brass saving' cut outs; it is not signed. It has a seconds hand and winds at 3 o'clock. Height 49.5 inches
