Catalog Description:

C.1885, Seth Thomas "REGULATOR No. 1" in nice restored condition. This clock has the large cut pinion movement, 41/4 X 51/4" plates and maintaining power. The veneer has some bubbles on the sides of the bottom and some minor repairs, but is overall attractive and nicely refinished. The dial was professionally repainted some time ago and with some age. The best pat of this clock is the original presentation tablet: "PRESENTED TO A. L. NICKERSON, BY FRIENDS, 1885" Also with nickel plated pendulum bob with damascene pattern. The hook for the weight got damaged, however a proper replacement is available from Timesavers.com, catalog No. 12183, for $2.75. Height 34 inches
