C.1900, French, Charles Hour, Unusual "distorted cube" clock and instrument set, as found, less 4-ball feet, and needing a tiny screw to hold on the minute hand, plus the movement fully wound and bound to a stop. This item is of very high quality, with a nice platform timepiece movement, Aneroid barometer, plus both Fahrenheit and Centigrade thermometers on the rear, each a curved tube with mercury indication, and both intact, and finally a compass on the top of the case. A compact little weather station that will respond to restoration. Note porcelain dial has a chip at the winding hole, and the dial is signed by the retailer: "Udall and Ballou New York". Width 5.25", Height 4.5 inches
