Ansonia Clock Co. "Roy" crystal regulator, ca. 1914.
A bow-front crystal regulator that may be the
only model Ansonia made with a bowed front glass.
It is 11.25 inches tall; the four beveled glasses are chip-free except for
a tiny chip in the lower left corner of the front glass, the brass shows light tarnish.
The convex porcelain dial is decorated
with flowers, the hands are Ansonia.
The 8-day time and half-hour strike signed movement is running and striking like a champ.
The most recent sale was at RO Schmitt's in 2016 for $250.
