A 39-inch walnut case in an unusual style.
door is unveneered wormwood, the crest possibly newer, and the base in walnut veneer.
The door glass is newer, the porcelain
dial with numerous hairlines at the 5 and 7.
The 8-day time-and-strike movement is unsigned; I cannot get it to run steadily.
The two weights may be too small.
It will strike.
