carved door in the serpentine style.
Note that the door opens at an angle, a feature of early serpentine models.

The door glass is newer, there are two side glasses as well.
two-part porcelain dial has some hairline cracks and two fancy hands.
The single-weight 8-day movement is running; the weight
is a bit beaten up.
I can't find a good example of a comparable clock that Horton's has sold of late, but I would expect a nice
example like this to sell for $350-$500.
