Paris round movement is marked only "B&L", which may stand for Baume & Lezard, watchmakers in Switzerland, in business since
I cannot find any documentation that they sold clocks, however, and cannot find another explanation for the B&L stamp
on the back of the movement.
It is a 15-day runner, striking on the hours and half-hours on a nickel bell.
The pendulum
is typical French style, more commonly seen on portico clocks.
No sales of a similar clock that I can find, so we're going on
the consignor's recommendation.
