Antique American Clocks
Gustav Becker Grand Sonnerie, ca. 1875.
A 50-inch walnut, 3-weight wall clock with brass ornaments.
An outer porcelain dial with an enameled inner dial, slightly different in color, with pierced hands.
Three brass weights and
a large brass pendulum, newer glasses top and bottom.
The movement is signed Gustav Becker and strikes on two wire gongs; it
is running and striking reliably, but the gong strikes need adjustment.
