John Birge & Co. triple decker, ca. 1848.
A marvelously refurbished 32.5-inch triple decker with
a great finish over perfect veneer, two new tablets, an old dial glass, and a new metal dial.
Note that the hands are mismatched.
The strap brass movement has had some work done and is running and striking, driven by two old 8-day weights.
There are wooden
pulley covers on top and a dark label inside.
A great decorator clock.
