English fusee octagon drop,
A 26-inch wall clock with mahogany veneer, a 12-inch painted
metal dial and a time-only fusee 8-day movement.
The heavy nickel bezel has come unsoldered from the hinge and will
need repair; the thick glass is probably original.
The movement is unsigned but well made, typical of English fusee movements.
There is a typical heavy English pendulum; the clock ticks only for a minute or so.
The latch on the bottom door has been replaced.
With some effort this would be a nice English wall clock.
