Antique American Clocks
French bowfront cloisonné crystal regulator.
From its condition I am guessing this is an early twentieth
century clock.
It was made in France and evidently imported by H&H (Harris & Harrington), who were importers of clocks
from England as well.
The small, highly polished brass case is 10.75 inches tall and 7 inches wide.
All four glasses are
beveled, with the front glass bowed.
There is cloisonné across the front, on the porcelain dial, and on the top bar of the sealed
mercury two-jar pendulum.
The clock is running and striking the cathedral gong on the hours and half-hours.
slight hairline at the '6' on the dial, and some scratches and wear on the top and the inside (where the key is tossed).
