Antique American Clocks
E. Howard & Co. "No. 95" banjo, ca. 1923-1934.
A 40-inch mahogany case with the original
glasses I believe, with some touch-up to the borders.
The dial is signed E. Howard & Co. at the bottom along with the marketer,
Bigelow, Kennard & Co., Inc. out of Boston; the dial glass is convex and the hands are original.

American Clocks
The movement is signed and uses steel plates, introduced around 1930.
stop is missing above the winding arbor, a common occurrence.
It has a lead weight and a damascened pendulum bob and is running
and keeping time.
There are a number of recent sales (2017-2018) of this model in the Antique Clocks Price Guide, ranging from
$475-$1100.
