The ITRC formed in 1900 from the Bundy Manufacturing
Co.; it continued in business until 1924, when it became IBM.
This heavy, oak-cased clock is 30 inches tall; the door glass
is newer, the paper dial as well.
The movement is as big as a Buick and sits on a heavy iron mount; the springs are very strong
and require a huge winding key (included).
It is time-only, driven by both springs.
It must run for weeks.
There must be something missing here, as I see no way to record anything.
These clocks usually allowed employees to "clock in"
by getting a time stamp on their work card; they also were used to drive slave clocks (now these slave clocks are called "independent
contractors").
That's about all I know about them; hopefully, you know more.
It is running strongly and appears to keep
excellent time.
