There is a logo on the bottom of the back plate
of the movement "RMS" around a rose; this logo was used by this German clockmaker who was later bought out by Uhrenfabrik Mühlheim.
The early German regulator (Jugendstil) style case is consistent with that timeframe.
The 41-inch hardwood case has an ornately
carved top, a convex glass over the dial and a beveled cutout glass below, with pinecone finials on the bottom.
The case is
clean and unmarred.
The dial is a cheap plastic replacement.
The presumably 8-day, time-and-half-hour strike movement
is running and striking.
