Antique American Clocks
Schutz two-weight Berlin Vienna, ca. 1910.
The only information I can find on this maker is
that he worked out of Berlin in the early 1900's.
The Transitional style walnut case may be older.
It is missing two bottom
finials and the top crest and vase finials may not be original.
The door glass is not old.
The porcelain dial has some
fractures at the 8 and 11.
The movement is marked "Schutz Marke", but I cannot find the logo in my references.
is listed in Berlin.
The clock runs for a few minutes and sets but does not strike.
This clock needs some help.
