Sessions made very few enameled iron mantel clocks and this
one is not shown in Ly's book on Sessions clocks; there is no label on the case, but the movement is signed Sessions.

The case has been nicely refinished, with new black lacquer, gilt incising, new faux marble columns and a
new paper dial and brass bezel with a thick beveled glass (with an edge chip).
The dial pan has come loose from the bezel.
The movement is running and striking.
