A 28-inch (with eagle) banjo with an 8-day, time-and-strike pendulum movement
made in Germany.
Seth Thomas (General Time Corporation) began buying movements from German firms in the late 1950's.
movement is running and striking on two chime rods in the throat.
There is a silvered dial behind a convex glass, and two matching
glasses in a mahogany case.
