A gold-plated and lacquered case, 11 inches
tall, with convex beveled glasses all around.
The four glasses are original and show imperfections that must have come with
making a curved beveled glass.
The gold finish is really outstanding, only a few minor areas where there is any wear.
It has a signed porcelain dial and the correct hands (see page 268 of Ly's book on Seth Thomas clocks, Vol. 1).
It has a 15-day
high-grade, half-hour rack-strike movement; it is running and striking as required.
I can only find one sale of this model
in 2004 for $400, so it certainly is not common.
