A 35-inch case with full-length
columns veneered in flame mahogany, as is the base.
Note the repairs to the right column (at bottom) and the top left cornice
Both glasses are original with the original tablet, with minimal losses.

The wooden dial board is in good condition and has a large center opening to view the unusual round movement; the hands
are period but the minute hand looks to be a slightly short replacement.
The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is unsigned, running
and striking the wire gong on the hours.
There are two 10-lb iron weights and a period pendulum bob.
A small card label
indicates the manufacturer (Silas B. Terry, Horologist) in Plymouth, Conn.
A nice example of an SBT clock from this period.
Horton's sold an SBT clock with this movement in 2019 for $690.
