illustrations, the carving at the bottom is shown in the 1881 catalog image, whereas a different carving is shown on the 1891 illustration

The "A-frame" movement is not shown in Ly's books on Waterbury clocks, but it is found in other examples of this model;

The weights here are filled brass shells and may well be original.
There is a weight shield with a black and gold
label behind the pendulum; note that the clock must hang vertically to allow for the pendulum to swing unobstructed.

without issue.
This is not a common model; the most recent sale I can find was for $350 at Fontaine's earlier this year.
