The dial is painted, probably
original, the hands likely appropriate replacements.
The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is signed "E.N. Welch Forestville";
it is running and striking on a wire gong.
The alarm is hooked up but not tested; it strikes on a small iron bell.
is a good label behind plastic inside.
