Description
Badische Uhrenfabrik small peaked shelf clock, ca. 1900. A 16-inch light mahogany case with ebonized trim and two impressive spire finials. There is a colored transfer on the old glass in the door and a yellowed, varnished paper dial with the original hands. The 1-day time-and-strike movement is unsigned, running and striking on a wire gong without difficulty. A label but no text on the back. $50–$150.
