Description

Kieninger mirrored wall clock, ca. 1990. A simple 45-inch oak case with a full-length door glass and a full interior mirror. The square dial is clear Plexiglas with numerals at the quarter hours. The center of the dial is open to see the movement, with white hands. There is a gridiron pendulum and two long brass weights. The back of the 8-day, time-and-strike movement is signed “Original Kieninger, Made in Germany, no jewels, unadjusted”. It strikes in a bim-bam fashion on three chime rods on the hours and half-hours and is running. There is no label. $100–$200.
