Description

Elisha Manross 30-hour OG, 1843-1849. A 26-inch OG case with good, clean mahogany veneer all around and two old/original glasses. The mirror shows a lot of age. The contoured dial holds the original paint with some touch-up and chipping; the hands are period/original. The weight-driven time-and-strike movement is signed “Brewster & Ingrahams, Bristol CT” and is running and striking on a wire gong, driven by two period weights. There is a stained label on the backwall and an early embossed pendulum bob. $50–$100.
