Description

Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Chime Clock No. 214”, ca. 1913. A second example of this model, this one with a better dial. The mahogany case has an old/original finish and plays Whittington or Westminster chimes on eight nested bells. The silvered dial, with moderate wear, sits behind a convex glass; the hands are correct. Reluctant to run at first, it is now running and chiming without issue. AAC sold this model a year ago for $1600. $1500–$2000.
