Description

Southern Calendar Clock Co. “Fashion No. 3”, ca. 1878. A second example of this model with a clean case, undamaged finials (likely replacements), original door glass with good Fashion lettering, and two old repaints of the dials. All hands are correct. The 8-day, time-and-strike movement was made by Seth Thomas for SCCC; it is running and striking on the brass bell as expected, regulated by the proper “Texas star” pendulum bob. The RT Andrews calendar mechanism day and date advance properly. A superior example. $750-$900.
