Waterbury Clock Co. “Round Gothic”, ca. 1875. An 18.5-inch case with good mahogany veneer all around, clean and polished, and two old/original glasses. The tablet has been rebacked, with some losses. The dial is paper, signed, with some wear; the hands are later replacements. The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is signed and running, striking on a wire gong. There is a remote alarm hooked up but not tested. The label is yellowed and tattered. $50–$125.
