Waterbury Clock Co. “Crane”, ca. 1906. A 37-inch oak case with a clean finish and an old dial glass that has been rebacked; the lower glass is modern with an attractive advertising tablet. The crest on this clock is not new but has been taken from another clock and is not correct for this model (Ly, Waterbury Clocks & Watches, page 225). The dial is new paper with the original hands, the 8-day, time-only Waterbury movement is signed and running vigorously. The pendulum and bob are proper, there is a Waterbury beat scale at the bottom, and a black Waterbury label inside on the bottom with some losses. $100–$200.
