The 8-inch metal case is finished in gilt but I suspect it was repainted some time ago. The glass is beveled and the dial has a large opening to show off the nickel-plated movement. The hands are proper and the movement is die-stamped with the manufacturer; it is running nicely. No label. $50–$100.
