Description
Aaron Willard Massachusetts shelf clock REPRODUCTION, ca. 1920? The mahogany case is 36 inches tall with the brass finial (on a metal post); note the vertical crack in the lower door panel. The case is a bit roughed up and has some age, with an old/original finish, and there are large brass handles on each side. The upper glass is well done; the painted dial is dished with ornate hands and some fading. The brass movement is unsigned, time-only, driven by a lead banjo weight. It is running but slightly out of plumb. AAC sold a similar reproduction in 2023 for $500. $400–$600.
