Reuben Tower, Hingham, Massachusetts Patent Timepiece or "Banjo" Clock with Alarm, the mahogany case with roman numeral painted iron dial faintly inscribed "R Tower", brass side ornaments flank the waist glass of gilt scrolls against a red, white and blue background framed with half rounded moldings, the lower glass depicts five war ships in battle and central pendulum aperture, eight day, step train timepiece movement with integral alarm and winding arbor, powered by two lead weights and regulated by a pendulum. -

Caldwell, Philadelphia, (retailer) tall clock, 8 day, time, strike and chime on gong, three brass weight driven English movement with moon decorated pendulum in a Chippendale-style carved mahogany stained oak case with broken arch top and rope turned full columns flanking hood, three wooden finials, beveled glass on trunk door and rope turned quarter columns on trunk door and plinth. The brass dial has silvered chapter ring and center boss with engraving, chime silent selector, cast brass corner spandrels, moon phase and second's bit. -

The painted metal dial has calendar disc and floral and grape painted decorations. -
